So for this special edition of the 2025 Summer Anthems MDCon Disc Swap I have gone through the various Mixtapes, old photographs, memory boxes and descending to several directions on Memory Lane, Backroads and Boulevards. This resulted in an interesting mix of tracks that have positively stained and uplifted my magical summer moments from an early age to recent days. I could list all the tracks but I have chosen for a summarized description; “Only good Vibes”. This way it will remain a surprise for the lucky recipient! Should you be interested in the actual tunes, hit me up, then I’ll happily share the sunshine list!

The tracks originate from a variety of sources. Some original CD albums, Spotify and an old hard drive. Recorded with the Sony JB 980 QS using digital input for CD and the NETMD functionality for transferring the others and of course creating the titles. Perhaps the record levels are a bit off, but I found myself pressed for time, as one always does these kinds of things at the last minute… For this edition a fresh lemon-like TDK disc was used to quench the average summer thirst. Fair bit of time was spent crafting a memorable set of inserts for the original album case for the lucky new owner. With the random “Only Good Vibes” content description, they’ll be free to record whatever!
