Snostrebla's Disc
Background:
Who said anthems needed lyrics? I always resonated more with just the music rather than what was being said. Summer anthems for me are more about a mood. So, this is like 95% instrumental with the music doing the talking. This disc escalates pretty quickly and then mellows more out towards the later half. With the news of Brian Wilson’s passing, I tossed in some songs that were directly inspired by his work without just throwing on some Beach Boys tunes.
Whittled down from a playlist of 61 tracks, did consider doing a side swap for more angry music sounds but opted for a slightly more accessible disc.

I ran out of ideas to encapsulate what summer anthems are supposed to look like, so I instead chose Ice Cream Islands from Kirby's Adventure (NES).
